This Privacy Policy explains how Blue Sky Taxi collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website and booking service. We handle your data in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for trips involving the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Blue Sky Taxi is a premium chauffeured taxi and airport-transfer service based in Zurich and Winterthur, offering rides throughout Switzerland and cross-border transfers to Germany and neighbouring countries.

When you complete the booking form we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, pickup and drop-off locations, travel date and time, number of passengers, chosen vehicle and any optional message.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for payment-card details on this website.
To help you set accurate pickup and drop-off points, our map uses the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service to search addresses and turn map pins into readable locations. The coordinates you choose are used only to describe your ride and are sent to us as part of your booking request.
We do not carry out live GPS tracking of passengers through this website.
We use your information solely to prepare a quote, confirm your booking, arrange the right vehicle and communicate with you about your ride. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
When you submit the form, your booking details are placed into a pre-filled WhatsApp message that opens in your own WhatsApp app. Sending that message shares the information with us through WhatsApp, whose own privacy terms (provided by Meta) then also apply. No booking details are stored on our web server.
Fares are agreed individually for each ride and paid directly to the driver or by a method we confirm with you in advance. We do not collect, process or store credit-card or bank details on this website.
We store a single cookie ("bst-lang") to remember your language preference (English or German). It contains no personal or tracking data, and we do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
Because bookings are handled over WhatsApp, your ride details live in that chat history. We keep booking-related messages only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet any legal or accounting obligations, after which they are deleted.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at booking@blueskytaxi.ch and we will respond promptly.
For rides that cross into Germany or other neighbouring countries, the limited booking data needed to carry out your trip may be processed in those countries. We take reasonable steps to keep your data protected to Swiss and EU standards wherever your journey takes you.
